Connecting Young Talent and Industry Through MMA Group’s Participation in the BINUS Intern Expo

PT Makmur Mandiri Abadi demonstrated its commitment to recruiting young talent by participating in the BINUS Intern Expo in Semarang on Wednesday (September 30). Through this event, MMA introduced its company profile and its group affiliates, Sarira and Kekka. At the same time, MMA shared information about the various roles and responsibilities within the company and highlighted the values that are integral to MMA’s work culture.

PT MMA’s initiative to provide experience-based learning opportunities supports efforts to achieve SDG 8 by giving young people the chance to explore the working world and develop professional skills. Through this internship program, students not only gain practical exposure to real-world industry settings but also build professional competencies, work ethics, and the mental resilience needed to navigate the dynamics of the workplace.
6 Strategic Roles in Developing Potential

As a concrete step toward developing a qualified and adaptable young workforce, PT MMA is offering internship opportunities for six strategic positions, namely:
Finance & Accounting: Focuses on financial management and record-keeping, as well as supporting administrative and analytical processes related to the company’s financial activities.
Chinese Linguist: Provides opportunities to develop Mandarin language skills in a professional context, particularly to support communication and the company’s business needs.
HR (Human Resources): Relates to human resources management, ranging from the recruitment process and employee administration to various activities that support the work environment.
Purchasing Analyst: Oversees the procurement process for company goods and supplies, including coordinating with various parties to ensure operational needs are met.
Digital Marketing: Focuses on marketing activities through digital channels, ranging from content development to managing the company’s communications across various platforms.
Sales & Marketing: Provides experience in understanding customer needs, building business relationships, and supporting the sales process and the achievement of company goals.
These six positions each offer different scopes of work and challenges, allowing students to choose the field that best aligns with their background, interests, and the potential they wish to develop.
